Bids and tenders
From the decision whether to bid to the submitted proposal, for public procurement and corporate RFPs. Miroslav Mavrov ran bids and pricing for multi-party IT deals in international technology companies. The first question is always whether this bid is worth submitting.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is a bid or no-bid decision?
An assessment made before people and time go into a proposal: the chance of winning, the expected margin, the delivery risk and the cost of bidding itself. The result is a clear decision with its reasons. Often the best proposal is the one you do not submit.
Do you help with public procurement bids?
Yes, from the decision to bid to the submitted proposal, including the pricing model, consortia and subcontractors. The same work applies to corporate requests for proposal (RFPs).
What does bid management involve?
A team with clear roles, a timeline worked back from the deadline, and one version of every document. The pricing and technical proposals are written together so that they promise the same thing.
When is the best time to start?
Before the tender or RFP is published, where possible. The bid decision, partners and pricing model take longer than writing the proposal itself.
